MOST OFTEN ASKED QUESTION : Can you give advice on behavior,
health concerns, breeding, etc on birds not purchased from your facility?

For birds not purchased from our aviary we are happy to help you on a consultation basis @ $35.00 per 1/2 hour, and payment can be made using any credit card...through Paypal.
For birds adopted from our nursery we offer as much support
Once you've placed an order for one of our babies, we can give
you an approximate date of weaning, usually precise to within one week. If you're placing a $50.00 deposit on an egg, weaning time will be determined once the egg hatches...in most cases it's 4 1/2 months from hatch date to weaning date.

Sorry, we do not operate a retail store nor showroom and do not

I never recommend putting a new bird into the cage of another bird as that bird will usually defend its cage against the new perceived "intruder". Q. 3: DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS ?
We accept most credit cards, but only through Paypal. If you've

Q. 4: Will YOU SELL ME AN UNWEANED BABY/ FERTILE EGG?
Sorry, we do not sell unweaned babies and do not sell eggs. We will

Q. 5: HOW MUCH WILL SHIPPING COST ?
Airfreight charges vary from one airline to another but generally is
the time of shipping. If the temperature will be above 85 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, the shipment will be delayed until the temperature is safe to ship. We can use prepaid counter to counter shipping in the case of some temperature restrictions.
Q. 8: CAN YOU SHIP IN WINTER COLD AND/OR SUMMER HEAT?
We can ship to most states year-round, depending upon the weather at
socialized with their own and other bird species. We touch them all over their bodies so that they are used to being handled and we put them out on play stands with other similar-sized babies so that they learn to play and exercise. All our babies understand the "step-up" command by the time they are weaned.
Q. 9: HOW ARE YOUR BIRDS SOCIALIZED ?
Our babies are handled and nurtured throughout the day and
are protected while they are here. Since we operate a "closed aviary'" we do not routinely vaccinate our babies, and do offer a complete health guarantee.
Q. 10: ARE YOUR BIRDS VACCINATED ?
All our breeding pairs have been viral screened, so we feel our babies

Q. 11: ARE YOUR BIRDS CHECKED BY A VETERINARIAN BEFORE SHIPPING ?

Q. 12: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A HEALTH CERTIFICATE AND YOUR HEALTH GUARANTEE ?

We are happy to offer guidance as to the general characteristics of bird
human behavior. General characteristics of species can be used as a guideline for you to make this evaluation but a bird's personality and acceptance of other people and/or other pets is largely determined by its early socialization. A bird will reflect the nurturing and socialization that it receives and most species are very adaptable.
Q. 14: WILL A PARTICULAR SPECIES GET ALONG WITH MY SPOUSE/children/other family members/other bird(s)/dog/cat etc?
This question is impossible to answer as bird behavior is as variable as is
the eye of the beholder. What is preferable to me might not be preferable to you. However, we are happy to answer questions specific to a species as objectively as we can.
Q. 15: WHAT IS THE "BEST" BIRD ? Is this one "better" than another?
